Viola Mae Harden

NEWTON FALLS-Viola Mae Harden 96, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning January 17, 2017 following a brief illness at her home.
She was born in Center of the World, OH on January 1, 1921 a daughter of Archie and Leota Chapman. Viola attended Newton Falls Schools and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pricetown United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening and square dancing.
She survived by her daughters Margaret Harden of Newton Falls, OH, Mary Harshman of Mineral Ridge, OH, and Nancy Davis of Cadiz, OH; her brother Bruce Chapman of Newton Falls, OH; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Harden was preceded in death by her husband Matthew T. Harden and by two sisters.
Burial will take place at her family cemetery in Cadiz, Ohio.
Private arrangements were handled by the Sample- O'Donnell Funeral Home at 555 East State Street in Sharon, PA.
