Stephen Fedorchak

March 6, 1921 — December 29, 2018

FARRELL- Stephen Fedorchak, age 97,  formerly of Farrell, passed away on Saturday morning December 29, 2018 while a resident of St. Paul's Senior Living Community in Greenville, Pennsylvania.

He was born on March 6, 1921 in Warren, Ohio and served with the United States Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater of Operations.  He participated in campaigns in New Guinea, Luzon, and the Liberation of the Philippines, and received the Asia-Pacific Theater Service Medal with three bronze stars, the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal upon his honorable discharge.

Mr. Fedorchak retired as a millwright from the former Sharon Steel Corporation with thirty years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-five years Marylynn Fedorchak in 2017 and his son Bob Fedorchak in 2012.

He is survived by his sons Terry S. Fedorchak, Philadelphia; and Brian A. Fedorchak of Maryland and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Sample-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Sharon, Pennsylvania.
