Nancy M. Taylor, of Sharon, PA passed away on Friday April 20, 2018 at UPMC Jameson in New Castle following a extended illness. She was 69 years old.

She was born in Sharon on June 4, 1948 the daughter of the late Nelson and Nina (Charles) Bailey.  Nancy was a graduate of Hickory High School and had operated her own business as house cleaner for many years.

She enjoyed attending country music and rock concerts as well as her grandchildren’s football and soccer games. Nancy was devoted to her family and friends and loved being at cookouts, picnics, and especially celebrating birthdays with the ones she held dear.  She also enjoyed Facebook and her animal companions.

Her memories will live on through with her husband David E. Taylor whom she married on November 1, 1980; her children Rhonda Shawver of West Middlesex, Dawn Marie Suwanski and her husband Ron of Round Lake, IL, Dan Taylor of West Middlesex, and David P. Taylor and his wife Lisa of Hermitage; five grandchildren Emilee, Cailee, Lance, Garrett, Connor; her brother Harold Bailey and his companion Elvie Stinedurf of Brookfield; her sister Janice Hart and her husband Robert of North Carolina; her granddogs Nyko and Nytro; and by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her brother Edward Bailey.

Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 4:00-7:00PM at the Sample-O’Donnell Funeral Home 555 East State Street Sharon, PA 16146.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark E. Goswick, pastor of the Wheatland-Farrell United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Donations may be made in Nancy’s memory either the Valley Church of God or the Wheatland-Farrell United Methodist Church.
