Lillian G. Shirley

SHARON- Lillian G. Shirley, age 88, of Sharon passed away gracefully in the early morning on

Monday, October 28, 2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Sharon to Charles and Mable (Hunter) Hinkle. Lillian graduated from Hickory High

School with the class of 1954.

Lillian had worked for the Sharon Hardware Store and had been the cook at several area restaurants

including Sugardale Sam’s and Nancy’s Cozy Cafe. She enjoyed painting ceramics, going to flea

markets, camping, and playing bingo. She loved traveling, especially to the western states.

Lillian was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children,

Donald Shirley Jr. (wife Shirley) of Bullhead City, AZ, Debby Yoho of Sharon, and Terry Shirley (wife

Tami) of Sharpsville, PA. Lillian was grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents and her son, Charles Shirley, along with her brothers,

Robert, Cecil, Dale, and Donald Hinkle.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 6:00- 8:00 pm. at the Sample-O'Donnell

Funeral Home at 555 East State Street in Sharon, PA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November

1, 2024 at 11:00 am, also at the funeral home.

Burial will take place privately at Riverside Cemetery in Sharpsville, Pa..
