John D. Karkoska

SHARPSVILLE- John D. Karkoska, age 73, of Sharpsville passed away on Monday August 26, 2024 in the Sharon Regional Hospital.

He was born in Sharon on April 8, 1951 to John and Anna (Horodnic) Karkoska and attended Sharon Schools. He worked as a welder for many years and enjoyed working on cars.

John enjoyed relaxing on the porch and watching deer while at his son’s home. He loved mowing, playing pool, and enjoyed eagles.

He is survived by his children Christy Tsolo and her husband Tshaka of Farrell, Jason Karkoska and his wife Donna of Linesville; four grandchildren Tylajea and Jayde Karkoska, Tiffany Behner and her husband Kyle, and CJ Szugye and his fiancée Jessica Harlen; four great-grandchildren Xaiver Karkoska, Mina Behner, Theo Behner, and Leni Behner; his sisters Nancy Karkoska of Transfer, Delores Karkoska of Oil City, and Glorida Fondak of Sharon; along with his former wife Mary Williamson.

He is proceeded in death by his parents and by his sister Patricia Karkoska.

Calling hours will be on Sunday September 1, 2024 from 2-4:00PM at the Sample-O'Donnell Funeral Home at 555 East State Street in Sharon, Pennsylvania.
