Donald A. Hurd

Donald A. Hurd, age 74, of Brunswick, passed away March 8, 2017. He was born April 22, 1942 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to the late Fred and Jessie (Johnson) Hurd.
Don graduated from Sharon High School in Sharon, Pennsylvania. He retired from LTV Steel where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of the Brunswick Eagles 3505. Some of Don’s favorite pastimes included bowling and golfing.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, the former Rita Messersmith; along with many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina; parents, Fred and Jessie; step-mother, Lou (nee Calvin) Hurd; and aunt, Geraldine Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at West Side Cemetery in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania at 12:00PM on Saturday March 25, 2017.
