Dolores F. (Engrao) Ryan

HERMITAGE-Dolores F. Ryan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning March 15, 2016 in the Emergency Room of the Sharon Regional Health System.  She was eighty-seven years old.

She was born in Sharon, PA on August 21, 1928 a daughter of Pasquale and Susanna (Longo) Engrao.

Lovie as she was affectionately known was a graduate of Hickory High School and also Cosmetology School.   She was also a devoted office manager working with her husband at F. Leo Ryan Insurance company for many years.  Mrs. Ryan was also a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother to her family and was known for her “World Class” cooking talents by all who knew her.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of nearly sixty-seven years of F. Leo Ryan at home; her children Dennis Ryan of Youngstown, OH, David Ryan and his wife Cheri of Sweet Valley, PA and Susan Ryan and her husband Sean of Fort Wayne, IN; and by her seven grandchildren Caitlyn, Michael, John, James, Peter, Morgan, and Kylie.

Mrs. Ryan was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Patrick and by her sisters Olive, Marie, Marion, Cecilia, Naomi, Lena, Cora, Betty.

In accordance with Lovie’s wishes a private gathering for her family will be held at the Sample- O'Donnell Funeral Home 555 East State Street in Sharon, PA.

Entombment will take place at St. Rose Cemetery in Hermitage.
